1). Knights of the Knight (4-2)
The lack of sleep must be affecting this manager as he acts uncharacteristically today with a huge move of $100 for Saquon Barkley (equivalent to 2 1st round picks). Wow, congrats Earl. Some of you may want to bookmark this: http://bbcfantasyfootball.com/statistics/2019-2. Without the move, this team probably would have been sitting at the top anyway. Unless there are injuries in the future for this team, I don’t see any other team beating it on paper, but remember… Super teams don’t always win you championships… ☹… click thumbs up on the post if you read this.
2). Yo Adrians (3-3)
Hoober has had a rough start due to injuries, but this manager has to be excited to see Tyreek back on the roster. Hill, Thomas, and Godwin are by far the best WR corps in the BBC and Chubb is a top 5 fantasy RB! You all can suck it. Also, Godwin is better than Mike Evans, sorry Schindler. This week will be tough, as the entire team seems to be on a bye. Will Singletary breakout against the stout Miami defense? So far this manager seems to have won the 6 man trade as Conner is playing well and will be able to rest on the bye week after getting banged up a bit. Look for this manager to be in bidding wars in the near future.
3). Kig Bahunas (4-2)
I had some troubles ranking 2-7 this week, but Grant comes in at 3 as he has had some disappointing performances from Keenan Allen and Melvin Gordon recently. He also squeaked by two matchups ago thanks to OBJ and Robierto Gould shitting the bed (screw you Robbie).. Regardless, this manager still has a solid core of players and his $6 buy of Austin Hooper is looking like a solid move. Look for Dak to go off as he faces a secondary that is “less quality than that of horse shit.” Grant has been quiet this year with just 9 moves so far, will that change?
4). Voodoo Mama JuJu (4-2)
I hate that my best player is a raven, but I have to say I’m very glad to have grabbed Lamar Jackson with my last pick in the draft this year. Lamar, Carson, OBJ, and my TEs have the ability to put up some big points. Freeman has been supporting this team very well with 36 pts in the last two weeks and it’s encouraging that he receives targets while down as the Falcons blow. I’m loving to hear a “thigh contusion” is keeping Gurley off the field and rumors of Kamara banged up.
5). Prison Mike’s Dementors (4-2)
Justin is on pace to make the playoffs! Will he end his 4 year drought? With this team I think he does it. Without a doubt this team’s MVP for at least the first half of the year has to go to his massive D.. The Pats D of course. They are averaging an absurd 21.8 pts and have the 7th most points on the year behind CMC and 5 QBs. Even if the defense cools off, he has other pieces to put up points. Gurley is the biggest question mark for this team moving forward. Will he stay healthy enough to 1. Play and 2. Get enough touches while he’s out there.
6). Yarvard U (3-3)
Class has been on Spring Break these past 3 weeks as Stephen loses 3 straight. This team’s RB core along with Wentz and Andrews (TEs need to stop hurdling people and run them over) are solid. Aaron Jones’ Monday night game was looking like he was going to go off until a fumble and wide-open drop in the endzone. Stephen needs that to stop. Mike Evans leads all receivers in air yards for the year and it’s not even close (129yds more than the next guy). I expect some more boom games from this receiver. This manager needs a huge upset this week or it’ll be 4 straight. Will class be in session?
7). KUNU (2-4)
Again, I had some trouble ranking 2-7 this week, so Josh lands here due to his record and injuries. Josh has done a great job with his roster, but he needs them to get healthy. Kamara and DJ seem to be a bit banged up and Adams’ toe keeps him as questionable. IF this team can all get back to 100% and play week in and week out, Josh can make a strong push. I love that no one is out of it in the top 8 as records are only two games apart. I know there are rumors (from Josh himself) that he could sell here shortly, but I personally think this team could make a strong run.
8). Too Many Cooks in the Kitchen (3-3)
Tom comes in at 8 with a .500 record. I have Tom here because he is averaging the second least amount of PF on the year and he has barely squeaked by on 2 of his wins (thank you Kittle and the Steelers’ mighty offense). Cook and Matt Ryan have carried this team along and Kittle seems to be back to form. Coleman could end up as a solid RB 2, but we don’t have a huge sample size to know yet. The WR corps for this team has been a bit shaky this year with AB (F YOU) out for the year, Cooks injury, and Gordon just not playing well without his weed. Tom gets Hoober this week who has a large chunk of his team on bye.. will he squeak by again?
9). The Cluster Screw (2-4)
Earl’s team should actually be ranked 10th on this list, but because he was able to move Saquon for $100 in Auction money next year, I moved him up a spot. . I don’t think this will ever happen again, so congratulations, Earl. At this rate, he will probably get $60 for Mahomes (don’t do that). Here is the link again for all of you to ponder: http://bbcfantasyfootball.com/statistics/2019-2
10). #Hustled (1-5)
Shula did a great job of selling his pieces for the auction next year, and should be at 9 with his current squad, but he didn’t sell anyone for $100 and is 1-5. Thielen and Kupp at WR allow him to continue to put up points even after selling, but it is going to be difficult for this team to put up near 100pts weekly with this roster. Shula seems to be getting under some of the BBC member’s skin lately on Slack. It all began after the money started to roll in… 1 Timothy 6:10
